Your peripheral tissues involved in physical activity they can use fat, but the brain cannot. So, the brain needs glucose, or it can use ketones as an alternative source of glucose.
Your brain says go eat carbs, you need carbs, you need to fuel your brain. So, what we do is provide the ketone in the supplemental form so that your brain doesn’t have to wait for serum ketone levels or blood ketone levels to rise high enough from the production in the body. makes 4 servings
8 cups baby spinach
fresh corn, cut from 1 cob, steamed
1 cup fresh blackberries and/or blueberries
1/3 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
1/2 small red onion
4 Tbsps crumbled feta cheese
For the dressing:
Whisk all of your dressing ingredients into a mixing bowl and set aside. Place the chicken into another bowl and add sea salt, pepper and garlic powder. Drizzle oil and using your clean hands generously rub the seasoning all over the chicken. Cover and allow to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or overnight. While the chicken is marinating; tear your spinach into bite-size pieces if desired and slice your red onion thinly. Preheat your grill or a heavy-bottomed pan (cast iron is great) over medium-high heat.
Carefully place your marinated chicken onto the preheated grill and grill until each side is nicely charred, about 8-10 minutes in total, and internal temperature reads 165 degrees f. Set chicken aside on a board to rest, covered, then slice.
In a large serving bowl, add spinach, grilled chicken, corn, berries, pecans, and onion.
Drizzle the dressing over your salad, and toss. Garnish with crumbled feta cheese and serve.
8-10 oz cherry or grape tomatoes
5 oz feta cheese (in sheep's milk)
3 tbsp avocado oil
3-4 garlic cloves
~1/4 tsp Black pepper

1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
3-4 basil leaves sliced
Zucchini noodles (about 2 large zucchinis spiralized)
Optional: 1/2 tsp sweetener
1. Preheat your oven to 400F
2. In a baking pan, add your tomatoes, feta cheese, avocado oil, garlic and seasonings
3. Bake for 30 mins until the tomatoes burst and feta cheese is super smooth.
4. In the meantime, spiralize your zucchini noodles! You can cook the zucchini noodles ahead of time but I like them raw.
5. Remove pan from oven.
6. Add your basil and sweetener (optional) and mix to form your sauce
7. Add raw zucchini noodles, toss in hot sauce for 3 mins and you're done!
Jalapeno Chile chicken casserole
2 pounds diced chicken
4 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup chopped green Chile's
1/4 cup chopped jalapeno
1/4 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup chicken broth
Dash of garlic
Dash onion powder
Toss all ingredients together in Insta pot
Release stir in 1/2 cup of cheese I did a mixture.
